Your health data stays yours.
Intentra holds some of the most personal information you have. Here is, plainly, how we protect it. Every statement on this page has been checked against how the app and our servers actually work.
Kept safe on your phone
Your data on your phone is kept in an encrypted database. Its key is created on your device and held in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. Your sign-in session is stored there too, not in ordinary app storage.
Protected on the way
Everything sent between the app, our website and our servers uses HTTPS. Our website also uses HSTS, so browsers always connect securely.

Only you can see your data
Each account can only see its own data, and our database enforces this on every table. Things you choose to share, such as a household grocery list or a group chat, are visible to the people you shared them with.
Premium is decided by our servers
Whether you have Premium is decided by our servers from your App Store, Google Play or web purchase. Premium AI features and meal planning are refused by our servers if you are not subscribed.
How AI is used
The Intentra app never talks to an AI provider directly. AI features run on our servers, and we do not send your name, email or account ID with them. If you upload a medical document for reading, the whole file is analysed, including anything printed on it. We do not write the content of AI requests or replies to our server logs. Your chats and insights are saved in your account so you can come back to them.
No advertising, no selling
The Intentra app has no advertising or third-party analytics tools, and we do not send your health data to advertising or analytics companies. We will never sell your data.
Crash reports
Crash reports hold technical details only. They are set up not to collect screenshots, network traffic or your health measurements.
Payments
Card payments on our website happen on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your card number. In-app purchases go through Apple or Google.
